The best way to improve your fitness and ability is to train smart, be consistent, avoid injury, and have fun! 

Team Workouts are described below, but all members are encouraged to post swim, bike, and run workouts to the TE listserv. You never know who might want to join you!!

Training Weekend

One of Team EnVision’s most FUN events, our annual Training Weekend offers many opportunities to swim, bike, run, attend seminars and lectures, and mingle with your teammates!! Family and friends are also welcome to join in the fun!

Swim Workouts

Take the plunge this summer and join us for open water swims! Coach Jenny Harvey will help you tune up your open water technique, such as sighting, rounding buoys, entering and exiting the water, and other tips and tricks for success. Both lake and ocean swims will be offered.

Saturday June 27 – Nantasket Beach, 9am – 11am
Thursday July 9 – Walden Pond, 6:30pm – 8pm
Monday July 20 – Revere Beach, 6pm – 7:30pm
Saturday August 1 – Farm Pond, 7am – 9am
Saturday August 22 – Nantasket Beach, 9am – 11am

Run Workouts

Before you participate in the track or hill workouts, you should have a basic level of fitness to avoid injury and over stressing your muscles, tendons, and joints. Start off with one of these workouts per week and then gradually increase to avoid injury. These workouts are an integral part of run training, and some athletes may need to work up to them.

If you are new to running and/or track, please consult with the run coaches before your first track session.

We have all levels of participants at hills and track, so please do not feel intimidated because you think you run too slow– you’ll cheat yourself out of improving your speed, technique, and increasing your enjoyment of running!

Outdoor Track Sessions

Wednesdays at 6:30 pm
Meet at Victor Field
Watertown Track – Victory Field: Corners of Orchard and Common Streets.
Workout includes: warm-up, drills, speed work, and cool-down

ALL LEVELS WELCOME!
 
Hill Sessions

Tuesdays – Alternating Weeks, Watertown Boys and Girls Club – Whites Ave in Watertown (Just off of Main Street)

Other Runs

If you are planning to run, e-mail teamenvision@yahoo.com and request teammates to join you! Provide the time, location, distance, and speed of the fun (oops, we mean run!) This is a great way to meet new people!
