Six women ventured down towards the Cape to the beautiful Onset Bay for a wonderful day of racing and camaraderie. Incredible finishes were turned in by Becky, who finished 4th in her age group, having been beaten out of a medal by a last minute sprint at the finish; Allison, who completed her first triathlon ever and with an ocean swim no less; Kelly, who was fleet-footed despite having achilles-tendonitis; and another 1st place finish in the women’s relay team category by Rachel, Kristen, and Jenn (also competing in her first triathlon ever!). It was a wonderful day and great to share it with such great teammates and supportive family/partners who came too! 🙂
