Coach Becky Paige
Becky has been swimming competitively since she was a kid. She swam for the Acton Boxboro Regional High School team as well as the New England Barracudas club team. From there, she got a full swim scholarship to Northeastern University and was team captain her senior year.
Now her passion is triathlon – competing and coaching. She is an All American and 6-time Ironman World Championship qualifier, as well as multiple qualifier for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship. In 2019 she placed 3rd in her age group in the Olympic distance ITU World Championship in Lausanne, Switzerland. Then one week later traveled over to Nice, France and placed 5th in her age group at the 70.3 Ironman World Championship. She capped off 2019 with a personal best of 9:40:55 at Ironman Cozumel, placing her as the 9th overall female and 3rd overall amateur – all at the age of 48! Earning her another opportunity to head to the lava fields of Hawaii in October of 2020 for the Ironman World Championship.
Becky wants to share the lessons she’s learned through her deep experience in racing and training, helping you prepare for your race and fitness goals.
We do 3 sessions yearly of indoor swim, located at the Wellesley Sports Center (900 Worcester St, Rt 9). These sessions are coached by Becky. We will have 2 lanes for each session. If you want to guarantee a spot in the pool, be sure to sign up for the sessions as they are announced. Often vacancy spots per session are open from members who cannot make it on a given week for drop-ins.
Open water group swims open to all members are posted to the facebook group each year. We often meet up at Walden Pond. All levels welcome!
Team Envision members have been enjoying weekend indoor cycling workouts sponsored by Roy Cervantes at Grace Bicycles in Holliston during the winter. We bring our own bikes and set them up on Roy’s CompuTrainers for a spirited ride through Lake Placid, French Valleys, Mallorca, SoCal, and some of the alpine stages of the Tour de France. Sessions last 90 minutes and we often take a team run on the bike trail behind Grace Bicycles after, to make a brick. Sessions will run through March.
TE coordinators and members offer frequent weekend road rides of various distances and speeds throughout the greater Boston area starting in April. The location and terrain varies to keep us on our toes and help us get faster! Join the TE Google and Facebook groups to hear about these fun social rides.
While Team Envision currently does not host its own run workouts, we have members that enjoy the following:
